On 16–17 October 2022 at Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul, “Orthero Masters’ Class 2022 – International Orthodontic Event” was organised by Orthero, for which we are the exclusive distributor in Kosovo. The event brought together orthodontic specialists, academics and dental professionals from countries around the world.
Focusing on the latest scientific developments in clear aligner treatment and modern orthodontics, the event featured internationally recognised speakers as well as some of Turkey’s leading orthodontic specialists. Throughout the two-day scientific programme, participants explored clear aligner biomechanics, materials, attachments, clinical control, treatment planning and advanced CBCT-supported planning approaches.
One of the event’s most distinguished speakers was Prof. Dr. Ravi Nanda, who is internationally renowned for his scientific contributions and academic expertise in orthodontics. Prof. Dr. Ravi Nanda shared his knowledge and experience regarding the biomechanical principles of clear aligner treatment, material selection, the effect of attachments on treatment outcomes and approaches that support more predictable clinical results.
Prof. Dr. Ravi Nanda’s book, “Principles and Biomechanics of Aligner Treatment,” was also one of the event’s notable scientific highlights. By examining the biomechanical foundations of clear aligner treatment in detail, the publication provided participants with an important academic resource for the planning and management of modern aligner therapies.
On the first day of the programme, internationally recognised and leading Turkish orthodontic specialists delivered presentations on the different clinical stages of clear aligner treatment. Among the speakers was Dr. Ramadan Coşkun, who, together with the other experts, shared his experience in case management, digital treatment planning, the clinical application of aligner systems and the key considerations required for successful outcomes.

The doctors attending from Kosovo through the Bi Medical organisation participated in Orthero Masters’ Class 2022 as part of a four-day programme in Istanbul. They had the opportunity to attend presentations by world-renowned academics and exchange knowledge and professional experience with colleagues from different countries.
