On 23 November 2020, at a time when in-person training and professional meetings were severely restricted due to the pandemic, Orthero, for which we are the exclusive distributor in Kosovo, organised the free webinar “Design Approach and Getting Successful Treatments with Orthero Aligner.”
At Bi Medical, we supported the participation of dentists and orthodontic professionals from Kosovo in this online educational programme. In doing so, we helped healthcare professionals continue to access current scientific knowledge, clinical experience and the latest developments in clear aligner treatment despite the restrictions of the pandemic.
The webinar was delivered by Dr. Ramadan Coşkun, one of Orthero’s official trainers and a recognised expert with extensive clinical experience in clear aligner treatment. During the two-hour programme, he presented comprehensive design and planning approaches that support successful and predictable outcomes with the Orthero Aligner system.
The programme first introduced the key features and clinical applications of the Orthero Planner design tool. Participants received detailed information on evaluating digital treatment plans, developing an appropriate design approach and managing the revision process effectively.
The webinar also included the presentation of moderate and complex clinical cases. Through these examples, participants explored case selection, treatment strategy, important clinical considerations and treatment outcomes. Dr. Ramadan Coşkun shared practical methods for different case types, along with clinical recommendations designed to improve treatment success.
Another important part of the webinar focused on the properties of different materials used in clear aligner production and their effects on treatment. The differences between Orthero Plus and Orthero Classic were compared in terms of clinical use, force transmission and treatment objectives.
Delivered online and free of charge, the programme allowed participants to access the training from their own locations. At a time when attending in-person scientific events was not possible, dental professionals from Kosovo were therefore able to continue their professional development and receive direct guidance from an experienced specialist.
